Tamalpais Day Hike - Dipsea Trail]]></title><description xml:space="preserve"><![CDATA[This hike goes coastal to Mount Tamalpais, one of Marin Counties towering peaks. This intermediate 4 to 6 mile loop travels through redwood groves, oak woodlands, and grass-covered hills as it circles the upper part of the mountain. On a clear day this hike provides views of the Pacific Ocean, beautiful rolling hills of Marin County, and both the Golden Gate and Richmond bridges. The Dipsea Trail descends into an open view of the ocean and Stinson Beach, which makes for a beautiful and rewarding end to a wonderful hike. Trip includes guides and transportation. Special attention is given to the basics of user maintenance and simple repairs with a minimum of tools. Essentially, you walk away with a tune up on your bike and extra knowledge to go with it. You will become a better rider by understanding your bicycle's needs and capabilities. Bring your own bike to, so we can advise you on its specific needs. Space is limited to four students for individual attention. Total instruction time is six hours, with a break for lunch.
