South Indian Carnatic vocal music will be performed by S. Sowmya. Growing up in a traditional South Indian family and learning music initially with her father, she studied under Sangita Kalanidhi Dr. S. Ramanathan, and received further training from Smt. T. Muktha, of the legendary Brinda-Muktha duo. She will be accompanied by Embar Kannan on violin, Neyveli Narayanan on mridangam, and KV Gopalakrishnan on kanjira.
