Physics & Astronomy Colloquium
Please join us on Thursday, October 18, 2012 for What is the Higgs Boson aka the "God Particle"?, presented by Hossein Partovi, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Physics & Astronomy here at Sacramento State.
Dr. Partovi received his BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1964 and his PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1969, both in Physics. His research interests span a number of areas, including quantum information theory in recent years. As are all of our lectures, this lecture is FREE and Open to the Public. The lot closest to Mendocino Hall is Lot 2, but that is usually only available to NON faculty/student/staff after 4:30pm. The closest public lot is Parking Structure II, next to the bookstore. Parking permits can be purchased for $3.00 for 2 hours, or $6.00 for all day parking.
