South Indian vocalist S. Aishwarya will perform a concert of Carnatic music. S. Aishwarya was initiated into music at the young age of four by her great-grandmother M.S. Subbulakshmi and her grandmother Radha Viswanathan. She gave her first public concert in 2007 on the occasion of the 91st anniversary of the birth of her great grandmother, and has since performed over 400 concerts in India and abroad. She regularly performs in the Madras December Music Season and has performed in all major sabhas in Chennai as well. In spring 2016, Aishwarya gave a series of 30 concerts across the United States, as a tribute to her great grandmother. This past fall, she received the prestigious Young Achievers Award 2016 from A3F Foundation – Chandigarh as well as the prestigious M.S.Subbulakshmi Centenary Year Award – 2016 from Trinity Fine Arts, Chnenai.
