In 2003, Californians recalled out sitting governor. The campaign to replace him included 135 candidates! To celebrate the 10-year anniversary, the Project for an Informed Electorate is hosting a screening of "Born to Run", a documentary about the struggles of some of those "other" candidates. After the film, Professor Molly Dugan will moderate a discussion about media power in elections and the limits of political equality with the filmmakers and several of the stars of the film. Pizza PIE will be served.
