The Multi-Cultural Center hosts a FREE film series every year in collaboration with the One Book Program.
Gasland explores “fracking,” a hydraulic drilling process that taints water sources near drilling sites, making it undrinkable and sometimes flammable. This film offers an insight into the lives of people who are affected by “fracking” and the environmental consequences of hydraulic drilling across the United States.
