Sacramento State’s University Union UNIQUE Programs is pleased to announce a Wednesday nooner from Xochitl, singer-songwriter born and raised in Sacramento, CA.

Xochitl tracks her musical journey back to her mother’s womb, as her parents would go to church and put headphones around her mother’s belly blasting Mozart and The Beatles. Growing up, Xochitl always had a passion for music, but she decided to pursue a college education. After being in college for one year she decided to focus on music, and dropped out of college. At 19, she began to write songs and perform at local open mic nights to get her name around.

As of 2015, Xochitl has toured around both the east and west coast, been on several magazine covers, and she has released her EP titled Lion Heart in March of 2015. Her EP Has led her to be nominated for many awards, and even win awards for her abilities to be a singer-songwriter.

This event is part of Sac State UNIQUE Program’s Wednesday Nooner concert series. For the full calendar, visit www.SacStateUNIQUE.com or call the University Union Information Desk at (916) 278-6997.
