Physics & Astronomy Colloquium
Please join us on Thursday, November 1, 2012 as we welcome our speaker, Dr. J. Ruben Martinez, who will present, "Luis Alvarez and the Culture of High Energy Physics" at 4pm in Mendocino Hall 1015.
Dr. Martinez, who teaches in the Sac State Department of History, was born in Sacramento and went to UC Davis for a B.A. in U.S. History and a minor in Quantum Mechanics. From there, he went to the University of Texas for his M.A. and Ph.D. in History, specializing in the history of 20th century physics.
