 Are you a Sac State student looking for the ultimate winter/spring break experience? Looking for an opportunity to let your leadership, teamwork, communication, or organization skills shine? Or just want to share your Sac State pride? Then check out Alternative Break, offering short-term, local, community-based service projects for Sac State students.


Choose to work from one day to all week, depending on your availability. Project partners for our 2013 winter Alternative Break, taking place January 21-25, include Wildlife Care Association, Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, and Meals on Wheels. Activities and Community Partners subject to change.

Alternative Break, a collaborative project sponsored by Sacramento State's Community Engagement Center and ASI's A-Team, offers current  Sacramento State students and December 2012 graduates an alternative, free option for academic breaks.
