Conducting
a literature review for an original research project can be a challenge, even
for the most experienced researchers. How do you know if you’re searching in
the right places? How do you know if you’re looking at the most important
sources on your topic, and whether your literature matches the scope of your
research? These are common questions all researchers ask. This workshop seeks
to answer these questions from the perspective of Social Sciences research best
practices. Participants will learn how to conduct more strategic and efficient searches,
be able to engage with their peer researchers, as well as have one-on-one
consultations with a Social Sciences librarian about your research.
