Angel Island is the largest island in the San Francisco Bay and offers incredible views of the Bay Area. From its earliest days as a hunting and gathering place for the Coastal Miwok to its time as a U.S. Immigration Station, an entry point for thousands of immigrants, Angel Island is a bike ride through Bay Area history. We’ll drive to Tiburon, on the north side of the Bay. After a 15 minute ferry ride, we’ll explore the island, stopping for lunch and snacks long the way. Then return to Sacramento in the early evening. This trip welcomes riders of all abilities and includes guides, transportation and ferry fees. You provide your own bike and helmet. The bike must have multiple gears and be well maintained. If you don't have a bike, we have a small number available for rent. The cost is $15 when rented as part of the trip. Be sure to reserve one early.
