If you have backpacked and want another challenge, join us for snow camping. An experience you will never forget. On this trip we'll strap on snowshoes, hoist an overnight pack and hike to the meadow at Castle Peak and set up camp, culminating with the opportunity to sleep in a snow cave. How many people can say they've done that?!

This introductory trip will educate you in the ways of winter travel. You will get hands-on training in snow shelter building, minimum impact techniques, winter gear considerations, and much more. Our guides are highly trained in snow camping and backcountry living. This trip is designed for the person who has some previous backpacking experience and is in moderate physical condition. Trip includes guides, transportation, equipment and all meals. It's the most fun camping you'll ever have! Minimum age is 12.
