Sacramento State's Center for STEM Excellence welcomes Dr. John Wagner, Professor of Pediatrics; Director of the Division of Blood and Marrow Transplantation; Scientific Director of Clinical Research/Stem Cell Institute, and Co-Director of the Center for Translational Medicine at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Wagner is an internationally recognized expert in stem cells and umbilical cord blood transplantation. He will discuss new treatment approaches using cell and molecular therapies to combat life-threatening diseases in which conventional treatments are unsatisfactory including diabetes, skin, cardiovascular, and neurological disorders.
