The Sacramento State STEM Public Lecture Series welcomes Dr. Deepak Lamba, Assistant Professor at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging. Dr. Lamba will address his current research focused on identifying new methods to treat degenerative vision disorders using stem cell technology.

His recent focus on retinal repair in mouse models as well as generating a three-dimensional retina using bio-engineered scaffolds is essential before this form of therapy becomes available to patients.
