The Sac State Aquatic Center is the site of the 2013 Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships! This is only the second time this prestigious regatta will be held on the west coast in its over 100 year history. The IRA’s were held on the west coast for the first time here on Lake Natoma four years ago with great success. This year, there will be over 40 rowing teams from across the nation competing for national titles. Universities represented include Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Cal Berkeley, Washington, Princeton, the U.S. Naval Academy, and many others. This event draws crowds of thousands to beautiful Lake Natoma, the nation’s premiere rowing venue on the west coast. Come on out and enjoy fantastic racing from the best crews in the nation. There will also be plenty of vendors to peruse and sights to see, so don’t miss out!
