Reasonable Accommodation for Employees with Disabilities
In the Workshop entitled, “Reasonable Accommodation for Employees with Disabilities”, you will be introduced to the CSU policies and federal and state laws that apply to employees with disabilities and the key roles that the employee, the supervisor, and others play in the compliance process.  You will develop the skills to identify appropriate responses to such key questions as: Who is an “individual with a disability?”  Who is a “qualified individual”?  What are the “essential functions” of a job? What is “reasonable accommodation?” What is “undue hardship”?  The program is interactive, including a discussion of a case study and resources in your program materials.
