Southwest Jr. Rowing Championships
Aquatic Center is hosting the 2013 Southwest Jr. Rowing Championships! This event draws crowds of thousands to
beautiful Lake Natoma, the nation’s premier rowing venue on the west coast. High school rowing clubs across the southwest
region will be competing in their final regatta for the season, only the very
best advance to nationals in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. There will be over 25 crews on the lake; teams
competing include home team, Capital Crew, Marin, Oakland Strokes, Upper Natoma
Rowing Club, ZLAC, and River City. For

Fees:Tickets for the event are $5.00 and are available the day of the event upon entry to the park. Parking fees for the Nimbus Flat State Park are $10.00/vehicle. Overflow parking is available at the Gold Point Office Park for $5.00/vehicle with shuttle service to and from the spectator’s area (carpooling is highly recommended).
Volunteering:Numerous volunteer opportunities are available for this event. Please contact the Sacramento State Aquatic Center if you are or your organization is interested in volunteering. This event is perfect for gaining community service hours for high schools, sororities, fraternities, and many others.
