Faculty flutist Laurel Zucker will be joined a variety of other performers in classical chamber works.  

Since 1988 Laurel Zucker has taught full-time at the School of Music at Sacramento State. Prior to 1988, Professor Zucker received her Bachelor Degree from Juilliard where she studied with Samuel Baron. A winner of numerous awards in both flute performance and composition, she played in The Orchestra of New York, Música Sacra, The American Symphony Orchestra, Tanglewood Music Festival, Harvard Chamber Players, Marlboro Festival and Tour, and many others. From 1986-88 she went to get an MA in music composition at New York University.

To date, Professor Zucker has 64 CD releases on Cantilena Records, including her own compositions and standard flute repertoire. Her music is published by Alry Music Publications, Fatrock Ink Publications, and Subito Music Publications. Her recordings are also available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon and from many other internet stores.
