Photo of speaker, Dr. Charles ClarkPlease join us on Thursday, April 18, 2013 as we welcome Dr. Charles Clark from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Dr. Clark, Chief, Electron and Optical Physics Division at NIST since 1990, will present, "The Other World Seen by Animals" at 4pm in Mendocino Hall 1015. This talk is free and open to the public.

Dr. Clark's research interests include: Dynamics of ultracold atoms - Physical implementation of quantum information processing - Absolute optical radiometry with synchrotron radiation sources - Quantitative tomographic imaging - Atomic electronic excitation in nuclear reactions.
