Volunteers Wanted!

Back by popular demand, Sac State Serves is once again taking on this head to toe color extravaganza! The Color Run is a 5K course where runners/walkers are dusted with different colored powders as they progress to the finish line; though volunteers may end up wearing more color than the racers! While Color Runs take place all over the country, each one benefits a local charity; Sacramento’s Color Run will support the non-profit organization, Girls on the Run. Volunteers age 16 and older (with accompanying adult) are needed to dust racers with color and help set up and clean up after the event. This is a high intensity, really messy job for those who like to have fun!

Pre-registration required. To volunteer or to learn about future Sac State Serves events, please complete our online registration form. Specific event location provided to registered volunteers approximately a week prior to the event.

Sac State Serves is a community service program open to the campus community. Faculty, staff, students, and alumni are invited to take part in local, single-day service projects throughout the year. For more information, please visit
