Performance Management
In the Performance Management workshop, you will be introduced to an evaluation framework in which to assess your role and effectiveness as a supervisor or MPP in the performance evaluation process.  You will have an opportunity to think about the relevance and tone of descriptors you use when writing evaluations and understand the consequences of making assumptions without facts.  In addition you will learn how outside agencies view performance evaluations and steps to take to avoid claims of discrimination. Finally, you will discuss the importance of the evaluation to the employee and to his/her professional growth.  The program is interactive, including large and small group discussions and case studies.
