This hike goes coastal to Mount Tamalpais, one of Marin Counties towering peaks. This intermediate 4 to 6 mile loop travels through redwood groves, oak woodlands, and grass-covered hills as it circles the upper part of the mountain. On a clear day this hike provides views of the Pacific Ocean, beautiful rolling hills of Marin County, and both the Golden Gate and Richmond bridges. The Dipsea Trail descends into an open view of the ocean and Stinson Beach, which makes for a beautiful and rewarding end to a wonderful hike. Trip includes guides and transportation.
