What is Sculling? Basically, sculling is the act of rowing with two oars per person (usually in a one person boat). If you've always wondered what it would be like to move backwards through the water, wonder no more! This course is designed for the beginner/novice rower. It teaches safety, boat control, rowing technique, as well as launching and docking. Students will row in open water type rowing shells designed for a single person. Upon successful completion of this class, students will be able to return to the Aquatic Center and rent the single rowing shells for recreational use. 4 day class, 2 hours each day.
