Trinity Alps Backpacking

From the Swift Creek Trailhead of the Trinity Alps a whole world of beauty is open to you. Camp in the cool green grasses of a beautiful meadow shaded by Seven Up Peak and then on the shores of the crystal clear Granite Lake. In the height of wildflower season you will see fields covered with yarrow, purple and yellow lupine, indian paintbrush, and many more sweet smelling wonders. As you round Seven Up Peak, just below the 7000+ ft summit, look to the horizon and on a clear day you will see the snow capped peaks of Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta as well as the surrounding peaks that make up the geological regions of the Red Trinities and the White Trinities. Trip price includes guides, transportation, gear, dinners, and camping permits. Minimum age is 16.
